The Blackthorne Ceilidh Band
The Blackthorne Ceilidh Band consists of Bob Liddle on lead accordion playing Fantini 5-row, Louise Douglas from Kirkton, Hawick, playing fiddle, and Charlie McIntee from Kelso playing Borsini 2nd box. Piano, bass and drums supplied via the magic of the fantastic V3 module developed especially for SDB/Ceilidh music. The band is available for ceilidhs, weddings, pub gigs, private functions, accordion clubs, and anything else you may want a ceilidh band for! The band is pictured above at their debut gig in the Cobbles Inn, Kelso, on 12 January 2014, when an enthusiastic Sunday afternoon crowd enjoyed their lively and innovative sound.
